Hi, Karla. I've been a silent reader of your blog and I've got to say, I admire you and your writing skills. I've especially loved 'Ignite' and 'Burning Clues'. I myself want to give writing short stories a try but whenever I open Microsoft Word it's like all my imagination runs dry and I just can't seem to throw all the thoughts in my mind into words. I hope you could give me advice. (I'm a young, aspiring writer.) I wish you well! :) Thank you.
Believe me, I feel the same way every time I try to come up with something. It's frustrating when you have all these ideas inside your head but it just won't come up as nice as I'd like it to be and all you have in front of you is an annoying blinking cursor. But since I have no choice, what I do is I just write whatever it is I feel like writing. The trick is to not let the "editor" inside your head screen your thoughts, and type away, however incoherent or inconsistent it may be at first. Soon enough you'll find your rhythm, and you'll be surprised at how much you've already written. I hope that helps! :) And thank you so much! I hope you can introduce yourself so we can be friends :)

Dear Bombastarr, I loved Looking for alaska as well ! It was such an awesooome book , right ? And you have 2 admit , it's very quotable too :D The other books on ur list seem interesting , I'll check dem out when I have money again ! Haha.
Yes it definitely reached, if not exceeded, my expectations. That's the thing with young adult books, I guess; sometimes you'd be surprised at how much more powerful the stories they tell are than the "grown-up" ones. And sure, I hope you all enjoy them as much as I did :)
